our puja table

So for the past four or five days its been Tihar in Nepal (Depwali in India). Its the festival of lights but also includes inviting Goddess Laximi into your home for good luck and wealth, lots of caroling, lots of lights and candles , many pujas (ceremonies where tikka is given and received) and, in my family, many dance parties and a bbq. Below is a picture montage from far my favorite Nepali Holiday.

    Judging by the massive smiles on all of your pictures, I can tell ur havin a wonderful time! And the Nepali people seem extremely joyous as well.

    Just lettin ya know that im still reading!
